About Rebus
This page is playing music by two very different bands.
"Sun Dried For Scotty" and "Lift Music" are by a Rebus that is sadly no longer in existence. From an unreleased album called Arima on Unlabel.
The rest is...
Since 2005 Rebus' unique brand of energetic dance-indie-pop has been filtering across the UK from Rebus HQ in Reading, with appearances alongside the Ordinary Boys, The Infadels, Bloc Party & The Rapture amongst others. With festival headline appearances and tours up and down the country, word is spreading fast.
With both their releases (self released single Daylight Fading & The Red EP ) receiving airplay on Radio1 / BBC 6Music & XFM, their tastemaker supporters include Steve Lamacq, Bloc Party (Alex Rebus is personally thanked in their debut album sleeve), The Cooper Temple Clause, DrownedInSound, XFMs John Kennedy & The Sun newspaper.
Their track Work Song has also been snapped up as the soundtrack for Vodafone's 3G service and national advertising campaign. A clip of the song can be heard by millions on the new television and cinema advert all over Europe and available for download to all Vodafone 3G customers in the UK, and they've been used to help the Vodafonemusic.co.uk campaign. The same song was also a featured download on DrownedinSound.com
