What a wonderful musician /singer /songwriter /storyteller. An absolute National Treasure.

Intimate venue, with maybe 100 people. Mike the pies have clearly invested in their venue, with a top class sound and light system. Every note on the guitar was clear, and the vocals were stunning. Clear, crisp, with just a hint of reverb. John Spillane was a class act as usual, he oozes raw talent. He can make that guitar talk, with fantastic power for the loud songs, but balance it with the delicate finger picking in the slow ones. The stories between songs really give an insight into John’s “hit factory”, aka his vivid imagination!
