AMAZING SHOW! Andrea is one of the greatest performers I’ve ever seen in 50 years. Think the artistry of David Byrne, the passion and intensity of Fiona Apple, the stage presence and command of Jack White, and the fun of the entire band B-52’s, dressed up like Lene Lovich, and that’s what she is. A powerhouse that just doesn’t stop. Héctor and the band are great live, but the spotlight is on Andrea, who has the energy and verve of their punk days but with the maturity of many years of performance. The songs are ALL great, just pure ear candy, and since I barely know any Spanish, I can tell you it doesn’t matter at all. Their range of musical styles and ambition has always reminded me of The Clash.

About Aterciopelados
