Chris Annibell

Chris Annibell, has been a fixture on the Global Soul scenes in NYC for well over a decade. An early contributor to Turntables on the Hudson, Annibell is the founder and resident DJ of Afrokinetic and Carmina Soul, and has shared the stage with the likes of Gilles Peterson, Mark De Clive-Lowe, Daz-I-Cue (bugz in the attic), Dego, King Britt, Osunlade, Christian Prommer, Thievery Corporation, Nickodemus, Rich Medina, DJ Spinna, Mark Farina, Soul Live, Terry Hunter, Tony Touch and Tortured Soul; among many others.
As one half of the production duo “Nickodemus & Osiris,” Annibell has released a body of work including single releases on the Giant Step imprint, contributed tracks to commercially released mix compilations and keeps busy remixing and re-editing tracks for a wide variety of artists.
