Jackie's guitar playing and singing were fantastic. Been following her since discovering her on Austin city limits. Never close to hartford, TIL NOW. so glad I finally saw her show, I loved it. & 1st time at venue, a unique interesting really enchanting spot ! Some of us need to sit a lot, hope they get better chairs soon.

She grew up around the music business in Austin TX, classical music education, vocal mastery, funky stank rocking guitar, songwriting, music production skills and a band that rocks whether 1,2,3, or 4 are on the stage. This time all 4 were rocking the walls down. If you have never seen her find a way to get it done. You will ask yourself, "why did I not know about this?" Seriously I've seen it on too many faces and heard the words too many times.

Great show in Toronto, Jackie! Jackie and her band absolutely rock! With a unique blend of jazz/blues fusion together with rock and gospel, Jackie speaks her own powerful musical language. We first saw Jackie at Art Park opening up for Trombone Shorty in 2024. And basically she stole the show! Keep on rocking Jackie and come back to Canada as often as you can!

I'm a very big fan of JV, so no surprise I loved the show, but more than that I liked the Venue. I met people coming in from several other states. Me from Texas, others sitting at my table from Mississippi, New York and other neighboring states. It was a very small club, but a great venue for a live show. The club history is cool, sound great, servers friendly. Great night!

This was a show with chemistry. I had seen all these bands before and they are all favorites, but this time Jackie Venson, Samantha Fish, Keb Mo and Slash all outdid themselves in inspired fashion! I heard from band traveling teams that these people truly liked each other and were enjoying their time together. If you can catch this tour please do. It's an amazing treat!

Loved Jackie! 5 stars for her great person and performance. CWB itself has a nice ambience and I've enjoyed shows there before. However... 1. The address listed for the discounted parking garage is not where the entrance to the garage is. To find it, I drove around the block twice through super-crowded streets because of the nice weather and Celtics game that night then double parked to ask for help and to walk looking for it. Although the parking cost was reasonable, it occured to me that the garage didnt know I was at CWB; and I didnt see a way to validate my garage ticket at CWB. 2. The pizza was terrible. I've eaten lots of pizza in many places, including two day old leftovers. The CWB mushroom pizza was among the worst. It was cold, soft and doughy - and whats with the forest of greens on it? The greens werent listed in the menu as an ingredient and they added to my unhappiness with it. Please do better. Barry Hock barry.hock@yahoo. com

I have travelled far and wide to see Jackie Venson. Every event is unique and consistently great. This time she came to my home town with my 4x4 adventure friends. The folks at the Levitt were excited before/during& after her Trio's performance. Jackie, Rodney Hyder (drums) and Brandon Morgan (keyboards) were the always great performers you can expect at a JV show and they have fun with it. Do yourself a favor, see Jackie Venson live!

Jackie Venson shows get better each time you see her. She’s at the top of her songwriting and guitar playing craft. Her band is tight. Each amazing on their own, but together wow! This show at the Paramount was over the top with music blasting out from the stage, cosmic graphics melting the walls and this Angelic Austin legendary voice piercing through the darkness with hope and love.

Trouble in the Streets was high energy melodic jazzy rapping mixed with defibrillation beats. JV always brings the cool kids with her. JV also burned down the building on this particular night. More screaming than I’ve heard since the 70’s. My sister and I had a blast. I’m going back this week. Suggest you do too!

Didn’t go to the show, but watched it stream. There are 3 more every Saturday in January. JV is one of the best Live acts going, a rockstar that everyone should see. GO SEE THIS SHOW @Antones the 13th, or 20th, or @The Paramount on the 27th. You will witness beautiful soul revealing songwriting and monstrous guitar virtuosity!

JV stock is on the rise. She does shows in really cool places and circumstances all over the United States and around the world (see the Oct 14 show). This show had a large delighted crowd. The rock star played a Jazz Festival. Part of the reason I go to so many of her shows is to see the amazement in the faces that haven’t seen her yet. Lately there are more knowledgeable crowds knowing what’s to come. See her soon. Free won’t be around long and prices will go up. You’ll see why.

One of the best shows I’ve ever attended… and I’ve been to a LOT of shows.. intimate venue, felt very exclusive. I was up against the stage, but I had elbow room. Larger than life artist, who came to chat with the fans when the show was through. Could not have asked for a better experience

Jackie had an outstanding 90 minute performance at the Grey Eagle. She is a guitar virtuoso and delicately balances her awesome technical performance and beautiful song writing skills with a joy and passion that is so fun to experience. The Grey Eagle is a very cool intimate, laid back atmosphere to enjoy musicians. Can’t wait to see Jackie again in Appleton, WI this summer. Thank you Jackie for an awesome evening!!
