Fabulous duo who should have played the three songs at the end but were only allowed one - fabulous set reminiscent of the Civil Wars at their best

Brilliant night, excellent music, sound and lighting, great crowd, will go again!

Superb night at Trades Club. A 4 hour drive to the gem that is Hebden Bridge, set in the glorious Upper Calder Valley in West Yorkshire. It was 'up close and personal' with Phil 'Seth' Campbell & Seafoam Green. The location was gorgeous, the music was excellent, the performance superb, the lighting.... well, that was shite but, hey ho. I bagged myself some treasures, autographs and vinyl and went home with some very happy memories.

A very special intimate night. Two excellent artists in a small venue with a select audience. Seafoam Green are superb, dealing mainly in Americana (I guess), but they are kind of unique. Their music is a mixture of semi acoustic, bluesy folk music with Irish roots and stunning vocal harmonies, underpinned by some gorgeous guitar. I have seen them several times and their performances have always been ethereal and flawless. Phil 'Seth' Campbell, was the incredible vocalist for The Temperance Movement, has a catalogue of music, self penned and unusual covers, that prove he doesn't need to shriek and howl to impress. Alternating between acoustic guitar and upright piano he can mesmerise his audience without taking the paint off the walls. This beautiful venue, well hidden behind the station and definitely NOT on the Euston Road, is perfect for showcasing these treasures. Despite some technical problems, it was a wonderful night. 😎👌
