About Latifah
As an accomplished Jazz saxophonist and pianist originally hailing from Dallas, Tx, Latifah, sets her sites on releasing her long-delayed debut album Princess Latifah. Working closely with singer, songwriter and producer M-Saw, the Princess Latifah project has been in production since their 9th grade year in 2007. Overtime the project's sound evolved from 80s Soul/R&B to its current hybrid mix of 90s Hip-Hop, Soul, Jazz and Pop. Inspiration was drawn from many artists including Ella Fitzgerald, Otis Redding, Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse. My official site!
