About Sara Greer
Vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Sara Greer radiates warmth, intelligence, and indie charm. An innovative and improvisational singer and guitarist, she launched her solo career at just the age of 13.
Now, at only 20 years young, she has shared the bill with Colbie Caillat, Richard Marx, Michelle Malone, and Larry Mitchell.
Mitchell also produced Sara's debut EP, "All Who Wander": consisting of a total of four folk-pop inspired, original tracks all written before her sophomore year in high school. She has performed and collaborated numerous times with Collective Soul’s Ross Childress- who ended up producing Sara's first full-length album, “Drama, Drama” (available on all digital streaming services and platforms). All nine songs were written by Greer during her junior year of high school- masterfully capturing and conveying the emotional experiences she faced as a developing young woman through creative metaphors and catchy melodies.
During both her junior and senior years of high school, Greer's ultimate focus remained on school. During this time, she took several college electives through West Georgia Technical College: Essentials of Sound Recording I & Essentials of Sound Recording II (which she later interned for during her senior year), Live Sound, Music Business, and Audio/Video for Film.
Greer now owns a small studio in her home and engineers out of Hey Hey Studios in Griffin, GA as well. She continues to write, perform, and record new music that she hopes to release soon.
