Outback

ITA Gli Outback sono tante cose, tra cui un gruppo. Il nome lo vorrebbero cambiare ma avendo fatto tante esperienze carinine (ed alcune deprecabili) con questo nome, forse lo terranno sempre. Outback sono Gianluca (voce, chitarra, synth), Francesco (chitarre), Gabriele (basso), Eugenio(batteria). Negli anni oscillano tra pop, alt rock, dream ed elettronica. Con un brano contenuto nel loro primo Ep “Lame e Vetro” prodotto per Top Records, vengono selezionati tra i migliori 16 artisti per il Festival di Sanremo nella categoria giovani. Il 2011 è il loro anno fortunato: il 15 giugno 2011 hanno infatti l’onore di suonare al Rock in IdRho entrando a far parte di in una line up formata tra gli altri da Foo Fighters, Iggy Pop e the Hives, qualche settimana più tardi sono tra i 12 finalisti del Jack On Tour 2011. A novembre dello stesso anno pubblicano il loro album d’esordio “L’Incostanza di un momento“, l’album, prodotto nell’ambito del progetto UD, è stato accompagnato dall’uscita di un videoclip (Liquido) trasmesso nelle maggiori emittenti televisive nazionali (Mtv, Deejay Tv, Match Music) ottenendo anche numerosi passaggi radiofonici. Nel 2012 la band entra nel roster di Hub ed è in tour con oltre 30 date sui palchi di tutta Italia. A giugno vengono selezionati tra i 30 finalisti del concorso dell’heineken jammin festival, la loro performance andrà in onda su Rock TV nella trasmissione Sala Prove. I brani dell’album “L’Incostanza di un momento“, sono stati inseriti nella web series Happiness Vacancy. A settembre dello stesso anno tornano in studio per lavorare al secondo album, l’anteprima dell’album è stata la cover “Call me maybe” premiata come best cover act dal sito inglese Beat 100. A febbraio 2013 invece uscirà il primo singolo Never, accompagnato da un videoclip che vede alla regia il proprio cantante. ENG The Outback are a new alternative, pop, rock-band , born in Terni , Italy. The band is composed by Gianluca (guitar and voice), Francesco (guitar and keyboard), Gabriele (bass), Eugenio Della Mora (drums-). Thanks to the song “Lame e Vetro” present in their first EP, produced for Top Records, they have been selected among the best 16 artists of “San Remo festival”. 2011 is their lucky year: the 15th of June they have the honor of playing at “Rock in IdRho”, in a line-up composed by international bands as Foo Fighters, Iggy Pop e the Hives. Few weeks later, they are among the 12 finalists of “Jack On Tour 2011” and in November of the same year they record their first album “L’Incostanza di un momento“ which is obtaining a range of approvals by the critics and the national media. The album, producted in UD Project present also a videoclip “Liquido” which has been broadcasted in the best national Tv music programs as Mtv, Deejay Tv, Match Music, and on the radio. In 2012 the band will spend the summer in tour playing in a wide range of places around Italy, where they have the possibility to bring out their natural live temperament.
