James Robinson guitarist

James Robinson gives a high energy and charismatic performance that explores instrumental improvisation to the deepest level. Each performance is a trip into the magical realm of sound. The depth of the music is fueled by the energy of the audience. Robinson’s single “Tales of Change” was released to KKSF music sampler in 2003. Larry Carlton heard Robinson’s album Colours , saying “James is an extraordinary talent that deserves to be heard.” Carlton shared his enthusiasm for Colours with 3 time Grammy artist Steve Vai, who then signed Robinson to his Favored Nations acoustic label, saying “He’s phenomenal!”. Robinson signed with Innervision Records in 2020 and Azul Sky, the single from New Beginnings, was released with Innervision Records January 2021, and will be followed by full release of New Beginnings.
