Mode XL

Mode XL is from Ankara, the capital of Turkey. They release their albums from their own label "Basemode Records" and the third album is due in 2007. The track "Muptela" from the second album "Serseri Serbest Stili" became a big hit in the hip hop / rap programs on Turkish music televisions and is still one of the most aired hip hop / rap videos in Turkey. The band likes to mention they are from Ankara, more specifically Batikent in their songs.

The third album of the band "Militanz" was released in January 2008. The first video from the album, "Duzmece" became a big hit on the internet, getting more than 100000 views in less than two months in Youtube.
