About Miho Terachi
Born in September 1st, 1984 in Sapporo, Japan. She plays Alto saxophone mainly and also sings. Started studying Classical piano at the age of 6 and startyed playing saxophone at the age of 16 in school band. After graduating Japanese high school, she went to study abroad at the State University of New York at New Paltz, and leaned Music Therapy and Jazz. At the age of 20, she started playing at such as Live Houses, Bars, and Lounges as a professional. She plays Smooth Jazz, Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Crossover, and Pop music. She writes her own music and some of her music were released on compilation albums such as "V.A. /Driving Jazz Hokkaido LAKE". She played the Opening and the Ending music of a Japanese TV program in 2006. She also debuted as an actress on a stage drama "Players of Audubon" which was written by Kotaro Isaka and directed by Lassale Ishii and toured Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, and Tokyo (Setayaga Public Theatre) in 2011. She has released her first full album “Beautiful Magic” from Victor Entertainment in 2016.
