What fans are saying
I want to start with Hollywood Undead. They were great, as usual. I'd give them 5 stars. With that said, we were very disappointed overall.
First, the show was advertised to begin at 6 pm. We arrived at 5:40 pm and the first act, Madison Avenue, was at least half way through their set. What we heard sounded very good and I'd like to see them again. I've never been to a concert that started early. Had we known, we would have arrived earlier. The place was half empty. I don't know what they were thinking.
Second, and the reason we left early was because the stage was dark. You couldn't see the band members because the lighting was so poor. Hollywood Undead was only slightly better than the other bands. If we didn't care about actually seeing the band, we could have saved money and streamed on Spotify.

Hollywood Undead absolutely killed it like always and it was great getting to see them backstage again before the show. The venue dropped the ball though. That place was way too small to have that many people inside and it was suffocatingly hot. I was at the Fillmore in 2017 for Hollywood Undead's "V" album tour and had a much better experience. The other night, the whole crowd was just smashed up against itself and you had no room to move at all. Oh, and there should be a weight limit for crowdsurfing.

I have been a fan since their early days but honestly didn't take them seriously until about two years later..I bought and binged their entire catalogue and quite literally fell in love...the beats, the rhythms, the music in general..and the Masks..I am a massive fan of all things theatrical..and being a MR BUNGLE,ClownCOre,THE RESIDENTS and SLIPKNOT fan..among many other bands..their look was the first thing that captivated me..but once I took a real listen to their sound..
I couldn't stop.
So when I heard they were returning to Oz...I jumped at the chance to see them..
As I missed their first tour here..
And they really are absolutely AMAZING live..their energy and enthusiasm is palpable. They know how to get us jumping and dancing...and after the show they even posted out that we here in Sydney truly do get them as we all sang so loud they couldn't hear themselves...!!
It is SO COOL to know that we in Sydney made such a big impact on this band we all love..they said, and I really hope that they come back really soon!..
I,for one..will definitely be up front singing my a**e off!..
Thank you gentlemen.
For a show I will never forget.
