About Bengal Lancers
Bengal Lancers have always aimed to write songs to make you think and feel. That much is obvious from their live shows: Moments shared among friends. They’re a band whose fifth member will always be the audience.
There’s a feeling that 2018 was only the tip of the iceberg for the band: A year that has seen the four piece support the likes of Cassia, while taking to stages across the UK with a series of well-received headline shows, not to mention spending four weeks as part of Spotify's Hot New Bands playlist. The song writing grew at the same pace, tackling difficult subjects but always with a sense of optimism. Much like their shows, it’s a rally cry of support – a sense of solidarity that comes from the knowledge that we’re all in this together.
They go into 2019 armed with a new catalogue of music and a sense that this year could be the start of something.
