Hi. We play sweet and sad songs about friends and lovers. Listen @@@ Auvamusic.com Aüva formed in January 2015 in Boston, MA, while studying at Berklee. Their first EP titled, “Light Years”, was released in April of the same year. The first EP (self titled) was released in the Summer of 2016, and a new EP titled "Side Effects", was released in January 2017. The overall sound is reminiscent of the dream-pop style with notes of surf and psychedelic rock influence. A consistent and driving rhythm section dances underneath jangly guitar and soaring harmonies. They also help run a DIY music space called “Make Out Point”. The band is made up of Berklee students, Miette Hope, Jack Markwordt, Jake LeVine and Michael Piccoli, and Boston Conservatory students, Andy Metzger and Austin Birdy. We write sweet and sad songs about friends and lovers.
