Nils Frahm

Nils is amazing every time I see him! It’s not just the music, it’s the performance. There’s nothing like it. Can’t wait for the next tour! :)

The music was 10/10, as always. I've been to a lot of concerts lately, and this (together with his one in Upsala) are my top two. However, needing to be said, the venue was terrible. Nils complained about a noisy fan at the start, and the sound guys arranged so that it was turned off. That was probably the ventilation for the entire room. The air quickly became really stale, and after just 15 minutes one person fainted. It took another 45 minutes until another person went down at our end of the crowd. I'm a tall guy, so I had the privilege of sipping the best air, but it must have been really horrible for the shorter people. I had a light headache when I left.

Frahm is a sound genius! This concert is one of the best I’ve experienced and it was fascinating to see Frahm compose the music on stage with all his instruments and devices. His glass harmonica is such a beautiful piece. And when the base goes through your whole body. It’s a wholesome experience, for all senses. Frahm is unique and everyone who is into getting something different and memorable need to go to see Frahm 🤎

Not what I expected. I knew he had a wide variety of genres, but was too light on the modern classical piano I was hoping to see.

Once in a lifetime experience. A must-see show for any music fan of any genre. It was transcendental and sublime.

On peut se dire qu’aller voir Nils Frahm en concert ne peut rien ajouter à l’écoute chez soi quand on sait que l’on reste assis, que le public est quasi léthargique, qu’il n’y a pas de show, que Nils Frahm joue de dos …. Et bien pas du tout !! Le son puissant, les basses, les rythmes, les claquements qui surprennent nous transportent loin de la HiFi de notre salon et, au milieu d’un public attentif plutôt qu’endormi, on vit une expérience unique. We can say that going to see Nils Frahm in concert can add nothing to listening at home when we know that we remain seated, that the public is almost lethargic, that there is no show, that Nils Frahm plays from behind…. Well not at all!! The powerful sound, the bass, the rhythms, the surprising clicks transport us far from the HiFi of our living room and, in the middle of an attentive audience rather than asleep, we live a unique experience.

I regret not hearing further piano pieces (Familiar, Some, Them..), but the show was truly wonderful .. cried my eyes out during the performance of Says. Nils is a genius, his work is phenomenal. Felt like I was in a different time & space for 2h. It went by so fast. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to see him, please do

Phenomenal performance, quiet at times and energetic at others but never lacking in personality. I can only hope that I get the chance to see nils frahm again

This guy... I've never seen someone who was so mentally, physically and emotionally in tune with his music. He's the avatar of music itself. Last night's performance was the audio equivalent of a 10-course meal at George (with wine pairings!). Just a riot of sound, and wildly satisfying on an elemental level. He played all the notes you needed to hear and many more you didn't realise were missing from your life. Review wankery aside (sorry), if you have the chance to see Nils Frahm perform, my god just go.

Absolutely out of this world. Shame about the noise from the fans in the venue taking some of the shine of the quieter numbers.

Brilliant atmosphere, excellent sound quality and beautiful compositions from Frahm. One of the best concerts I have ever been too. 10 out of 10

The performance was AMAZING... it’s been a sound experience... I did not expect anything like that... He’s a real genius, he drove us in his world of sounds... like travelers with destination unknown... I’m listening ALL MELODY over and over... Thanks!!!

Concert was awesome, the venue had poor ventilation, and it was terribly hot. Also the scene was hardly visible even from the middle of the crowd
