About Lori Kelley
Lori Kelley - Country/Pop "Writing songs so you don't have to." Lori Kelley is a recovering bar singer and songwriter from Key West, Fla. and the Washington D.C. area. She made the move to Nashville in 2013 to, "Have fun and write great songs." While living in Key West, Lori had a regular gig at the famous watering hole, Capt. Tony's Saloon and appeared in the Key West Songwriter's Festival in it's baby-days along with Tia Sillers, Mark Selby and Pat Alger. In the D.C. area, she was the lead singer of Lori Kelley and Twice Shy, then went on to play a steady stream of shows for 12 years with Cletus Kennelly. Their award winning duo was called Cletus and Lori. Together, they won over 13 WAMMIE Awards (Washington Area Music Association Awards) including Songwriters of the year and Song of the year with "It Was A Great Day" and Best Contemporary Folk Duo/Group.
With a BME from Northern Arizona University, six CDs of original music and a healthy desire to please the listener, Lori Kelley is ready to write a song. Influences: Jeffrey Steele, Shawn Mullins, Chuck Cannon, Jason Mraz, Shel Silverstein and Capt.Tony's Saloon. Singer/Songwriter, creator of "Eowyn's Song" on Youtube and "The Hobbit and the Arkenstone" on iTunes.
