Amenthes

Emerging from the depths of Central California, AMENTHES was conceived at the end of 2012 when Pierce May (Trumpet Solo, Azazel) contacted Peter Ruacho (Gristle, Noctilucent) and Dr. Buddah Love (Ruins of Eden, Throne of Agony, Nativeburn) with his vision and concept for a new band as a vehicle for their more extreme tastes in metal. In early 2013, the first rehearsals began, with Alex Belmontez (Archaic Terror, Evisceration, Incongruous) and Travis Dalldorf (Ruins of Eden, Writhen, Azathoth) joining the fold shortly thereafter and started playing shows, as well as releasing the "World Unknown" single. The year 2014 saw changes in personnel with the integration of Alfred Lopez (Atomic Violence, Desecrator, Dead Castle, Noctilucent) on guitars and Dave Wells (My Sorrow, Hadean) on bass and backing vocals. With a solid and formidable lineup now complete, AMENTHES has set about to deliver their sermons of darkness and brutality to the masses, sharing the stage with many local, regional, as well as touring bands such as Fallujah, Soulfly, Noisem, Full Of Hell, Incantation, Funerus, Castle, Inanimate Existence, Wrvth, Goatwhore, Ringworm, Black Breath, Theories, Artery Eruption, Meat Shits, The Black Dahlia Murder, Disentomb, Exhumed, etc. Our most recent EP release "Elysium Defiled" is now available online at www.amenthes.info "Elysium Defiled" now available on Bandcamp. www.amenthes.info
