Combining funk, hip-hop, and electronica, Cat Party is the radioactive alter ego of 26 year old Jacksonville based producer Nick Melillo. For the past three years, Melillo has worked hard at becoming a recognized name in the North East Florida electronic community. Frequenting local festival lineups including Suwannee's Purple Hatters Ball, MindSpring Music Festival, Connection Festival, and Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, Cat Party has become a fresh and exciting funk favorite to the Florida festival circuit.

Known for his live performances, Melillo strives to create a unique experience for each set he plays. Relying heavily on improvisation and overdubbing, live mashups and remixes are created during each show.

Having released his debut album "The Landing" in 2014, as well as his seasonal podcast sessions known as "Summer Grindown," Melillo is currently working on his upcoming self-titled album, which is to be out by the end of Summer 2017.

Adamant that music is meant to be shared Cat Party insists that his music will always be free and available for anyone that will listen.
