About Sara Spicer

It’s in her blood. Sara was born into a musical family who recognized her tone and pitch early. When she was barely five, she joined her mom and dad on stage and eventually opened for the legendary Tanya Tucker. Sara turned to songwriting at 12 seeking meaning and comfort following the passing of her mother, writing her first song, “Heaven’s Gate.” The song is a tribute to her mom, the woman who gave her vocal chops, an appreciation for Patsy Cline and a love of all things country. Not one to play it safe, in 2016 Sara moved to Nashville and “jumped” into becoming a serious songwriter and recording artist. She began writing with her new songwriting partner, Heidi Hamels, and recording with Nashville producer Zac Maloy (Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Daughtry), culminating in the February, 2018 release of her first single, the inspirational and infectious song “Jump” and her debut EP “New Girl”. Sara draws inspiration from a broad range of country and popular artists — from Patsy to Dolly to Celine & Christina.
