Nine Inch Nails

Been a fan of NIN for over 20 years. This was my 8th time seeing them live and this was their best show by far. Pure artistry from start to finish. The way they transitioned from opener Boys Noize straight to their set. The way they bounced between the smaller B-Stage and the main stage. The mind blowing visuals. Trent may be 60 years old but he is at his peak with this tour. A truly unforgettable experience I wish I could relive over and over again.

Impossible to overstate what a great show this was. 6th time seeing them, and this was probably my favorite. The double stage setup and the light show were astounding, the B-stage acoustic/remix sets with Boys Noize were fantastic, and the band were on point, as always. I've been high on it for a month now, wishing I could see them again!

I have seen Trent and every iteration of Nails since their very first gig! During the With Tour, my Husband and I got very accustomed to attempting to make as many shows in each tour as we could! The shows were (and are still) that incredible !! They are steeped in every emotion, that is different for everyone and differs from performance to performance! All are expected to be a completely mind-blowing experience. This time around, in Portland at Moda Center, the show would involve two stages; A & B. The show begins on A, spontaneously moved to B for some electronic and piano and “remixed” versions of early compositions; which were amazing! He also played the first single from the Tron: Ares Soundtrack, which he and Atticus Ross wrote and Produced. An early release! This tour also saw the return of favored drummer from the WT tour era, Josh Freese (about which everyone screamed and roared of his return through every great song! Trent just turned 60 in May, however you’re not likely to ever see him playing in any casinos soon (he’s still plenty himself.

Trent took a moment halfway through and said that one of their semi trucks that were on the way to Toronto to setup for the show got in a car crash and all the equipment in it is all scrap on the side of the highway, driver is okay though. He gave an extra thanks to the crew for still making the show possible. Makes me want to buy a KIA. Lol. <3

NiN are back with a bang! What a masterclass performance from Trent & Co. Loved this band since the early 90's but it wasn't until the Peel it back tour that I truly appreciated just how good a vocalist Trent is. From softer, emotionally delicate and haunting to controlled growling song by song. Just excellent. No opening act required. Boys Noize joined Trent for a few songs mid set and London was treated to a light and laser spectacle reminiscent of New Years Eve on the Thames. Overall, the show leaned more toward the side of dance than rock, but those in the standing section were moshing hard all the same. Despite a slight technical hitch, the band powered through and after an hour and a half of old and new(er) hits, they left everyone in attendance wondering what on earth they had just witnessed.

Class! lots of bottle to play a couple of solo piano trax (right where it belongs & ruiner). quality 2nd set on main stage with 6 trax covering many albums. Trent's mic packed up & reptile was mainly sung by Robin. 3rd set was my personal favourite, with a wikid version of warning with Boys noize & techno versions of only & came back haunted. 4th set was blistering mainly TDS + afraid of Americans & perfect drug, then obviously march & hurt. Best since I saw them in 1994 = luved it!

Don't think there is ever a disappointment when NIN plays. They had a technical malfunction at the beginning of the show and had to cut some of the songs- could tell they were pretty stressed out. Regardless of that it was my first time seeing them since being a lifelong fan and it was incredible. A/V setup top notch and the show is very tight. To my surprise they still have so much energy playing older songs like Closer and Head Like A Hole. Crowd went absolutely insane- it's FL so probably a bit too insane (but that didn't ruin my night).

NIN @ Eden Project was an absolutely amazing night. The show we attended was over a bad weather weekend, but we took wet gear (poncho’s) and warm clothing with us. Drove down early enough to walk through the biomes before the show. My cohort loved everything about it. My gripe is; disabled parking is not anywhere near the centre, nobody advised us how much walking was involved to get down to the biomes/stage area. The walk to the accessible area was up a steep hill, and none of this was under cover (some people hadn’t come prepared so left during the set due to the cold and wet weather). Otherwise, I’d happily see another gig there.

I've seen them before, including at woodstock 94. This show was definitely more intimate. Lower energy that what I expected. Not much from the awesome earlier stuff. I was at the Met 5/24 show in Philly. Light effects were a bit too much with the strobe. Still, it was a good show and would not have wanted to miss.

In 25 years of going to concerts, this was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, if not the best. When the the band walked onstage and tore right into “Wish” without saying a word, it set off a torrential 90-plus minutes of crowd favorites and deep album cuts, carefully balancing eras (“The Wretched” leading into “Sanctified”; “The Only Time” spliced to “Closer”) in a way that felt like one big story. There was simply… No. Letting. Up. (There was, however, “Letting Go.”) This was a show for someone whose allegiance to NIN’s winding career was rewarded with lots of surprises (“Heresy” and “The Becoming” - TDS; “Burn” - NBK soundtrack; four tracks off “Broken”). The sound mix was perfect, too, giving everything space to breathe. And there’s nothing that can prepare you for that light show.

I’ve seen Nine Inch Nails 9 times and this was the worst. Aside from it being a comparatively lower energy show, the massive amounts of fog and very little lighting on the band made it really difficult to see them. Standing in the pit, we got a lot of SUPER BRIGHT lights flashing directly in our eyes. I closed my eyes and covered them and that still didn’t block out the flashing lights. This was the first time in my life I actually considered leaving a show because of the lighting. I stayed because I paid $150, but seriously, it was pretty awful.

Had a blast with some friends at the show... an early birthday celebration for me and NIN came to play. The Palladium is such a great venue for this show because it’s intimate and the energy and moshing was contagious. The band was good but not superb in song choice so I gave it 4/5. Glad to see another full show with one of my faves. 🙌🏼

So I went to both night. I've seen NIN several times. Their set lists were very different each night, which was a real treat. Only four songs were the same both nights. Trent's comments in between songs were also different which gave things a more unique feel. This venue is really old and usually the sound isn't very good here but they had it dialed in well. Loud but clear. Could hear the instruments in balance fairly well.

Sound was great as usual. Venue was great. But wasn’t thrilled with the new album. Was hoping to hear more than the two old songs at the end. Wish i would’ve chosen the second day too as there were so many inconsiderate a*holes in the standing section, maybe it wouldn’t have been so packed the second night. Not sure if that was sold out too. Wish i had a better camera but i got some ok photos and videos!

This was an incredible concert! As a consequence of investing in a concert where the artist/band has been around for 29 years with multiple albums, there were many songs I would have preferred as opposed some of the songs performed on the set list. Nonetheless, they are incredibly talented performers backed with a mesmerizing light show. I would definitely pay to see these guys again, even if I do have to wait 8 hours in line to receive tickets.

A stripped down version of thier shows in the past, but it was just as good as any of thier previous ones. Trent and Co really rocked the music. I can't believe that Ilan Rubins arms didn't just fall off after The Perfect Drug. Just incredible to see. Despite a lot of people having thier cell phones out and in my face, the concert was great and I really enjoyed it.

Best show I have ever seen. Trent Reznor is a true master of his craft. Everyone may say that NIN best days have past, but I prefer the more mature sound of NIN now. I think having Atticus in the band has totally rejuvenated Trent and it shows in their live shows. Just wish I would have bought tickets for both shows in Phoenix instead of just one after watching the amazing show they put on.

This was my 45th Nine Inch Nails show, and, although they didn't have NEARLY long enough to play (stupid festival shows! oh well...SOME NIN is still much better than NO NIN!), the set list they DID have time for was F-ing AMAZING!!!! BEST I've seen since Wave Goodbye shows in 2009!!! Trent was in rare form, and the guys all TRULY kicked MAJOR ass!!!!

Both bands were great. This was my first Soundgarden show and they definitely stole the show for me. Chris Cornell's still got a great presence and they played more than half if the songs I wanted to hear. On the other hand, having seen NIN on multiple occasions before, I'd have to rate this particular NIN performance simply as "decent." It seemed like there were some minor tech issues in the mixing booth as they initially sounded rather quiet compared to Soundgarden. I think this issue was resolved though, as my ears were ringing appropriately after the show. Don't get me wrong... A "decent" NIN show is still mind-blowing, and far better than most other shows you'll see. However, since they performed only as a 4-piece band there were a lot more parts of songs that were played from tape, and I sometimes found myself missing the live drums and other elements that typically would've been played live by a fifth member. Seeing NIN songs performed by only 4 guys was, however, a real testament to the talents of the four multi-instrumentalists Overall though, this was an amazing night of hard rockin' 90s hits that I'll remember as one of the most fun shows I've ever been to.

the show was amazing. I've never seen NIN before and they didn't disappoint. First night if your, so apparently there were a few technical difficulties, as admitted by Trent, but none that I could really notice. Lots of songs of the new album, which was fine, and the stage show was amazing. So happy I got to go, and wouldn't hesitate to see them again.
