Avenged Sevenfold

I’ve waited ten years to see Avenged Sevenfold at Pine Knob, and the day finally arrived. My last attempt was back when they opened for Metallica at Comerica Park, but their set was cut short by an incoming storm. Ever since, it felt like unfinished business. This time, they opened the night with an unmanned, atmospheric rendition of their new STATICA… EP material, and it was fantastic — bold, strange, and completely its own thing. Then Good Charlotte took the stage and absolutely blew me away. Their energy, crowd control, and nostalgia hit harder than I expected, setting the perfect tone for the night I’d been waiting a decade to experience properly. And then A7X sent the crowd into a frenzy. They played everything I wanted to hear, and their stage production was top‑tier. I’ve been to over 500 concerts, and I can tell when you’re swimming with the big fish — this was one of those nights. I wrapped things up with two A7X shirts and a head full of memories. Thanks, guys.

Fue el mejor recital de los últimos tiempos, Life Is But A Dream es un excelente disco, fué increíble haber estado presente para esuchar tremendas canciones, volví feliz a mi casa. El setlist se disfrutó de principio a fin, Cosmic y Save Me fueron desgarradoras!. En esta oportunidad los ví desde la platea baja para disfrutar la música al 100% y se esuchó increíble, aunque también tenía muchas ganas de tirarme al campo y estar en la valla, ojalá haya una proxima vez. Los esperamos con los brazos abiertos ♥

Llegué 12 del mediodía para la cola. Las primeras tres horas de espera me quedé mirando Transformers 3 y administrando la botella de agua de 500ml que tenía. Cerca de las 3 de la tarde conocí a dos pibes copados, y se sumaron otro par a nuestro grupo. De primer telonero estaba Femi, y no estaba tan mal. Es como Boyler de Temu, pero se disfrutaba igual, no era como que te pongan a Dillom y Lali en el Kusquín ROCK sin rock. Mr Bungle fue un segundo telonero muy fuerte, todavía no me recupero del oído izquierdo. Me gasté la garganta con Funky Town y la de Andate a la Mierda. El show principal fué SHOW. Apenas empezó, Zacky revoleo una bandana y púas. Lo tuve a Matt frente mio con mi pasamontaña con el "we love you" escrito y me hizo un gesto de saludo en Mattel. Con Afterlife dejé la voz en los estribillos, y con Hail to the King seguía levantando el puño por más que me dolía el brazo. Gunslinger empezó tranqui y después se fué energizando. En Buried Alive se escuchaba el coreo del solo de Syn en el intro, y tuvo el primer pogo que llegó hasta la valla, sentía que me estaban culeando. The Stage, fenomenal. So Far Away, llevé un encendedor berreta y casi se me explota en la mano. Bat Country fue headbang todo el rato, igual que Nobody (en esa tuve que parar y empujar gente porque una chica se sentía mal, estaba casi desmayandose y había gente amontonada frente a la valla pidiendole a Zacky que les tire una púa). Ya el cierre fué mas emotivo, y ALPOH fué el broche de oro de la noche. Globos por todos lados, la multitud coreando, tener a los chicos de la banda tirando cosas al final. Una puta locura. Me llevé muy buenos recuerdos de esa loca noche, y también una setlist con indicaciones para Zacky. 10 años de espera y un atraso que valieron cada jodido segundo. Me hicieron no el día, la puta vida. Gracias por tanto, muchachos.

It was AMAZING! Better than I expected, and will be remembered for my whole life. The experience, the place, it couldn't be better than this. I think I'm not the only one thinking that the concert should of been continued for one more hour, there were songs left unsung, people were pumped up, but there's always the end to everything, BUT I have high hopes to see this band at least one more time in Lithuania!

This was a concert I wanted to go to the most in my life and I believed I could never go. I have been in great enthusiasm since you announced that you would come to Turkey. No doubt you were great, but we would love to listen to it more than old songs and at least 5-6 songs more. We love you so much, dear Matt, we have promised to come back again, we would like to host you with more songs as soon as possible. Glad to have you!

Sullivan King was awesome! Not even my cup of tea but the dude killed it, he put on an amazing show! Then poppy came out....didn't address the crowd or really acknowledge anyone. She stayed in the middle of the stage, as soon as she was done singing, she ran backstage....her band was still playing. Avenged Sevenfold was so amazing! They're my favorite band so I'm a little biased but they absolutely slayed!! Matt's crowdwork was top notch! Zachy and Syn were almost hanging off the stage at certain points. Johnny was alive. They were just genuinely having an amazing time!! The guys love what they do and it shows!

The band was spectacular! Love the banter with the fans and the sheer energy behind their music. They're so tight and the songs are great. The acoustics were ok. I don't know if it was the venue or the mix, but I could've used a lot more bass. Could barely hear it. The overall volume seemed kinda low. Still though, I could relive this concert a hundred times over and still love it.

Missed Kim Dracula Falling in Reverse was fantastic and Avenged Sevenfold delivered an extraordinary performance, a setlist that offered fans an array of hits from their extensive catalogue like "Hail to the King" "A little piece of heaven" And "Buried Alive", As well as select songs from their new album "life is but a dream" which sounded that much better in live concert. There was something offered for any fan of their various eras. 10/10 recommend for a heavy metal rock concert.

I'm giving 4 stars because Falling in Reverse and Kim Dracula both put on amazing shows. They rocked the stage and were great performers. A7X broke my heart. They are one of my favorite bands and I understand that they are used to bigger louder crowds then Oregon provides but that doesn't mean that the people who did show up to rock with them didn't deserve respect. They walked off stage and didn't say goodbye. There was no encode. It was disheartening. The fans that showed up know there is a lack of rock fans in the area and we hate that too. It affects the rock shows we get here. Our hearts are in it all the same. I hope they come back with a different perspective. Rock on 🤘

Did not enjoy second opener (Kim Dracula) Walking off after D(eath) was probably the worst ending of all time. Great show, musicianship, M. Shadows sounded fantastic, wonderful energy…then leaves you hanging after a suicide song. The set list was quite “ Life is but a dream” heavy, And a bit disappointing that they were teasing about playing cosmos, and this did not happen. Overall, I enjoyed the show and they are still One of the all-time best

Wish I had known they'd run a piano track for 5m at the end instead of another song. Saw them at welcome to Rockville honestly enjoyed that show a lot more but I was also on the lawn for this show Vs 20ft away from the stage for hardy Pantera tool slipknot etc I much prefer GA shows...but front row lawn here irregardless. Whatever they changed on letting out traffic at the show was terrible I parked less than a football field from where I normally do because I was coming from far away and it took 45m to get out of the lot. Never seen that at this venue. Also a shitton of people just came to see the openers and that became very apparent by the thinning of the crowd. Long story short seen them twice this year and their "first show back" or whatever was honestly better. Then again I'm probably jaded from the sheer amount of shows I go to especially this year in particular. If you actually read all of this I gotta ask you why man? Lol

A7X rocked! They played a ton of classics and hit hard with some of their new songs like Nobody and Mattel. The only downside I could find was the end, no final words or goodbyes, just a creepy piano that played for more than 2 minutes after. I know that’s one of their new songs but it made the ending feel empty. Last time they came they ended with ‘critical acclaim’ which was way different from this. Besides that the concert experience on a whole was a blast!

Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite band so my opinion is biased, but I had an amazing time at the show! Flew 2,000 miles from Houston to see the show and hear some of the new tracks as well as the classics. I’m sure not everyone is pleased with some of the new songs with the varying styles and everything, but I’ve found I enjoy 99% of the new album so the more they play of it the better! Not to say that the classics weren’t played, in fact I believe it was 50/50 at the least, so there should be enough for everyone to enjoy!

This was the best Avenged Sevenfold concert I’ve been too and I’ve seen them close to 10 times now. They switched up the way they played their classic songs and then played 8 of the new songs. Parking to get into the forum took a long while and could be better , the seats are somewhat crammed and they had sound issues here and there on Avenged Sevenfolds set but other than that it was great!

This was by far the best and most incredible concert I’ve ever witnessed, and I’ve been to too many concerts to count. I’m so grateful that I got to see my favorite band for the first time. Avenged Sevenfold has changed my life in so many positive ways. I cried a lot during the whole set, especially sobbed during So Far Away (my favorite song of all time). It was amazing to witness these pure souls, these talented musicians, these beautiful human beings who touch the lives of many. My heart is so happy right now and will remain happy because of Avenged. You guys are home to me and inspire me every day as a musician and as a person. Thank you for the best night EVER!!!!!!!!

Been a fan for 15 years and always wanted to see them when Rev was alive. My boyfriend bought me the tickets for my birthday when we found out they were touring again so we could be at their first show back. It was amazing to see them. You guys definitely live up to your reputation. Much love. So happy you decided to start touring again it was the best feeling in the world to see A7X live. Thank you for coming back.

It was phenomenal. It was my second time seeing them live and it will be a night to remember for sure. I saw the immersive album experience first earlier in the day and I loved every minute of it and when I heard they had announced a show here in Las Vegas I had to jump on tickets as soon as possible. I’m so glad I got to see them again. Thank you guys so much for the awesome show. It was great hearing you again after 5 years. We love you.!

The bands performed amazing. I really liked that Avenged Sevenfold played some sobs I had never heard live before (especially happy that they played more dogs from the stage then just The Stage and G*****n, but those are great too). It was definitely worth the 5 hour drive, and I can’t wait to see them again! P.s. only problem was that during Breaking Benjamin’s performance, light kept blinding me and others at the top because it was directly pointed at us at times.
