Big Wreck

We had a wonderful time and the crowd was family friendly . We wish Big wreck would play here more often and come out after the show with his band to sign memorabilia. The band is excellent and and was a good show for kids to experience a professional band.

Have seen Big Wreck many times before and they just seem to get better every time. Chris is a perfect fit for the band and boy can he play. I mean I don't know what else to say other than if you have seen them you know what I am talking about. If not they are a must see band. One of the best shows ever

A great band aided by a great venue. I traveled quite a distance to see Big Wreck and I would absolutely do it again TOMORROW. Intelligently written, guitar-driven, hook-filled music performed with precision and vigor...even some fucking JOY in there just in case that wasn't already enough. Go. See. Them.

Absolutely amazing show! The venue was great, the management and workers were all outstanding. They were totally cool with us having our daughter who’s underage at the show as we checked ahead of time and they marked her as such. This is my eighth time to see Big Wreck/Thornley. If you haven’t you have to! Ian is a guitarist’s guitarist on top of phenomenal vocals and incredible songwriting craftsmanship. And the entire band is mega talented and tight. But the most important quality about these guys is how down home they are and willing to spend time with their fans. They were amazing to our daughter. Sekou treated us like family. Also have to mention the openers were tons of fun, Gloom Girl MFG. Also treated my daughter like royalty and gave her a shirt and signed drumstick. She’ll never forget this show and we won’t either!

Big Wreck was awesome, as always. Great set list. The sound was very good. The venue was packed. Looked like a sold out show to me. And the crowd was very engaged. Often singing along and dancing/jumping around. Ian's voice was strong. His guitar playing was humbling. Everytime I hear him play, it makes me want to either quit playing guitar or go home and practice. They played quite a few new songs but made sure to play the most popular ones in their catalog. If you get a chance to see Big Wreck, do it! Hopefully they will continue to play spots in the US. Killer band.

2nd time seeing this band and they do not disappoint! Not even the opening act Caged Affair (they SUCKED massively) could detract from their performance. The sound could have been a little better but to be fair the room is basically a cement floor which reverberates naturally. Thank you Big Wreck for coming to North Carolina again!

The band was amazing! The live sound reinforcement (sound guy) left a little to be desired. For a guitar rich band like Big Wreck, you HAVE to have mids! The sound was scooped with all of the mid range dialed out of it, and waaay to much reverb on the vocals. Sounded like we were inside a beer can to be honest

Opening two-piece act, Caged Affair from Asheville, wasn’t bad. Ian and company brought the receipts! Sound could’ve been mixed better, but the crowd and the atmosphere were stellar! I can understand why they may not allow re-entry, but it could prove problematic. Drink prices were simply unreasonable-two watered-down bourbon/sprites with 10% tip were $40. Anywho, Big Wreck’s 2 hour performance overrode all my gripes…would definitely see them again!!!

Great show, as always . You are all so talented and down to earth. Love the fact that you take time out at the end of the show to meet and talk with your fans. Thank you for coming to Charlotte NC - looking forward to seeing you again in the Queen City God bless

Amazing band. Thornley drove the band through a set if old and new songs and absolutely killed. These guys from Canada are the real deal ,so don't miss a chance to see them live. Top 5 singer around period! On another note, try your hardest to miss the shitty opening cover band. A fucking joke they got to play before the mighty Big Wreck!

Big Wreck was amazing as always! I think this was my 5th time seeing them live, and I make sure to make every show in this area. They deserve much more recognition in the states but the fans know it’s a blessing to witness such talented musicians perform up close and will continue to support these guys. I can only hope they continue playing and return to the area for years to come. Keep rocking, Big Wreck we love and appreciate you!

Big Wreck is easily one of the greatest rock bands of the last 20 years. Their mix of solid song writing and explosive love performance never disappoints. This show was no exception and has made me an even more devoted fan. If you haven’t heard them go listen now!! Underground Arts was a cool venue but the mix on the sound could have been turned down just a bit to allow for a better separation. Whether or not this was a limitation of the venue, equipment or otherwise I can’t say but the concert was still a great time!

Pretty good. Would have liked to have heard the song, "Inhale". i guess they are older now and the show wasn't as rocking as previous tours. Ian played alot of solos during the show. I could have done without that and instead added said song i was hoping to hear.

Big Wreck never disappoints. 7th time seeing them and I can't wait for the 8th. They're extremely talented and my fav Canadian band. Hard to find good original rock music but Big Wreck keeps creating awesome rock music. Sierra Pilot was good too. Pleasantly surprised. Always nice to have a good opening band. Little less original overall but the band improved that aspect through their talent. Most impressed by the drummer's energy and the singer was great but still finding his place as a frontman I think. Solid band. Overall awesome show🤘 Bought merch from both groups so they weren't just good they were 'i am happy to give my money to support the bands' good.

The boys nailed it like they always do!! Played a few new tracks with some old favourites. They seemed pretty pumped for this show and we feel so blessed and fortunate that we were in town for this memorable experience. Our third time seeing Big Wreck, we met them four years ago in Halifax when Chuck and Brian (rest his soul 🙏🙏) were with them. This time, I met Sekou, and I can say all of these guys are humble, down to earth, everyday folks who are masters of their craft!

Been a fan since In Loving Memory Of. This was my first time getting to see them live, and it was very surreal. I thought back through the years, of memories tied to some of those songs, and I welled up. My only wish was they got a longer set. I hope to see them again in the near future!

Great show, Brkn Love, Monster Truck and Big Wreck were all highly entertaining. We were happy to see them at Abbotsford Center as the sound there was much better than the Commodore, where we have seen Big Wreck the last three tours, for some reason the sound at the Commodore is muddy...Great choice of venue.

Absolutely amazing show! Ian Thornley wailed away on the guitar displaying masterful skill. Seen all their Toronto shows since Albatross at the Beer Festival and will continue to see them when they’re back in town. The boys killed it. One of the best live bands, hands down!

The opening band was amazing and high energy (a new favourite with Texax King) and the Big Wreck was one of my first concerts so this was a trip down memory lane with an amazong band that didn't disappoint. Also the crowd was amazing and digging all the music and the venue was initimate and fun!!

One of their roadies is a douchebag. I paid for VIP, one of 8, and was one of many who was doing video. Been a fan since 97, and the douche makes me stop recording just as they started playing the immigrant song. Good thing all of the other people were still allowed to record, so I can watch it on YouTube.
