About Airforce
Airforce formed in 1986, when Steve Harris from Iron Maiden introduced his former drummer Doug Samspon to guitarist Chop Pitman, his old mate. Tony Hatton on bass and Doug's brother Sam on vocals completed the lineup. The band gigged extensively around London but after a few vocalist changes decided to call it a day in the middle of the '90s.
Airforce took to the stage once again in 2008, with Chop being the only original member. After several lineup changes, the original band mates finally reunited in 2016, after the release of the retrospective album "Judgement Day". The band released several EPs, a studio album and a live album, and toured regularly in the UK, Europe and across the Atlantic, including some festival appearances and 2 tours supporting Steve Harris' British Lion.
