About Chonkinfeckle
Chonkinfeckle are Wigan lads, Les Hilton & Tim Cooke. They met in September 2009 at the Wigan Ukulele Club. Having played with various bands over the years, and having found out they have a few things in common, they decided to get together to play some ukulele Folk tunes, with a bit of a twist. 2014 saw Chonkinfeckle team up with Wigan Athletic to promote their FA Cup and Championship play-off campaign. Even recruiting Latics chairman Dave Whelan to 'play' in the band video!
Staying true to their Lancashire roots, most songs have a local lyrical theme, others are instrumental, but all are played on the Ukulele, Harmonica, Cigar Box Guitar and Drums!
