Rakeem Miles

Rakeem Miles is a hip hop artist and songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland. He’s also one of the creators of the hip hop collective Organic Geniuses. He brings new life to the ever familiar boom bap flow while integrating vocal melody and even touching on alternative hip hop. From his mother being a drug addict to foster care to moving through fourteen different schools he has developed a way to express himself in a positive manner. Rakeem’s message speaks more than just his troubled past, it also speaks for those that are all too familiar with the same unfortunate upbringing. Rakeem grew up listening to Pharrell, Kanye West, MF Doom, N.E.R.D and Kid Cudi. Music is now a full time platform for him to publicize his views, aspirations and inspire others to do the same.
