Karnivool

Performance was amazing as always. However I will not see a concert at PICA again. It is not great sound wise for live music.

Karnivool put on another amazing live show. They've proven to be one of the most consistently awesome live bands going around.

it got delayed till Wednesday. I’m rating it 4 stars in advance, taking one off because of the inconvenience.

Hadn’t seen them in about 15 years and they sounded as good as they did back then. Fortitude Music Hall is a great venue too, heaps of room and plenty of spots you can see from. Great show!

Amazing show! I don’t think anyone who attended would have been disappointed!

Greatest band in the land. Played a mix of old tracks and even a new song. Sound was awesome. Light show was insane. The band was tight and full of energy and absolutely rocked the Liberty Hall.

Attensed the 1st Sydney show, absolutely amazing. The guys did not miss a beat and arranged the best set list. Could not have rated their performance highly enough.

They were awesome but the sound quality made it hard to hear Kenny sing.

Karnivool was excellent, some of the best live sound I've heard. Plini and Cog too, great energy and sound. Pretty much the entire crowd knew what sound they wanted and they got it. Wasn't as keen on Ocean Grove, but it can't all be there and not knowing who they where before I went, my fault really - personal preferences and all. Being outside really helped the noise levels sound punchy and loud without completely deafening me and keeping me up the next couple of nights with ears ringing. Big plus. Only negative aspect was the security. I lost my wallet during the night, so I asked various staff around the venue for where the lost property station would be. Whilst most of the individuals (bartenders, RSA marshals, security, ambo's) where clearly trying their best to be helpefull, I ended up riding a string of suggestions to the next person to ought to be able to help. By the end of the night, that string ended with last security guard (seemingly the manager/boss) who I was told to speak to. He told me absolutely nothing of value. I asked for anyone else who may know, he didn't have a clue. I asked for a phone number or email or just the nearest tent that might have a pile of lost items. No idea. I thanked him anyway and he then told me I had to leave the venue, as I was now outside and couldn't re-enter, despite the fact that I had only approached him because I was told he was the man to speak to and that was where he was standing. He then told me to come back tomorrow, but couldn't tell me when or what might be happening or who might be there. Thankfully, a good samaritan had handed it into the local police station, however, it seemed absurd to me that there didn't seem to be a lost property section, given how many items must go missing at concerts. If there was one, I can't imagine why 4 securty guards I asked didn't appear to be informed of its existence.

Karnivool blew the roof off of the Triffid on Thursday night!! what an awesome gig and venue!!

Karnivool are the greatest Australian prog rock band. Afterwards I was looking at their tour to see where else they'll be playing and whether or not I can get to see them again. Absolutely brilliant!! 😀

you bring your passion and yourselves to the stage and through your music and lyrics you stretch out your arms and say, "well r u fucking coming or sitting back?" I will never forget The Wool Exchange, Wed night was my first time, and you mind fucked me! Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karnivool was as sophisticated and technical it could get and Monuments was as crazy as possible. Awsome, Enjoyed it.

It was Amazing. Very good organisation. However, I would like to see more than 45 min performances

I went to see DLC. unfortunately I'm not a fan of all of Karnivool's music and their performance wasn't that great so I can't give them a higher rating. DLC were superb!!

The Roundhouse is such a great venue for live music, and Karnivool sounded as amazing as ever! It was a great setlist and Sky Machine sounded incredible live...if only they had have played Deadman, it would have been the perfect gig!!

awesome in the true original sense of the word. They can actually pull out off live which is no mean feat! appreciative of the audience too. How they grow big enough to able to play apollo next time because academy 1 won't do them justice.
