The Dahlias

Formed out of Syracuse, NY as Cerulean Blue, the band underwent a transformation in 2014 after welcoming its current drummer Sho-Mi Sumors, and adopted it's current name - The Dahlias. A new level of cohesion and motivation brought the band previously unprecedented strengths, particularly through the introduction of ambitious rhythms that span multiple genres. In addition to Sumors, the band boasts the showmanship and talent of bassist Alexander Lexendorf. Alex can be called both a bassist and a sassafras and is easily identified by his charismatic presence and outrageous attitude. Finally, the band claims Benny Brick - lead vocalist and guitar player. Benny's presence carries The Dahlias to the stage with a brimming passion and overwhelming conviction that can only be heard to understand. Rock + Funk + Raggae + Sounds good!
