In July 2008 imadethismistake released its first electric-ensemble effort entitled "It's Okay." Now a three piece, imadethismistake has more energy and umph behind them. imadethismistake is the one-man effort of Kylewilliam Campol, hailing from Tallahassee, Florida via way of Toronto, Canada, Campol weaves stories of love, loss, and friendship atop acoustic guitar and classical orchestration. The standout factor that makes imadethismistake so stylistically unique is the vocal delivery, given in a spoken word-with-melody fashion. imadethismistake's first non-self-released release was the Bonfire Club 7", and it was followed by the debut full length, "Tomorrow, We Start New," which featured the now broken up Cripple Lilies acting as a backing band.
