About The Spoils of Seattle

SPOILS are an American rock band from Seattle. Formed in 2003 the trio is composed of lead vocalist & guitarist Milky Burgess, bassist Jim Davis & drummer Don McGreevy.

The band's sound has been described as a 70's power trio. Harkening back to acts like James Gang, Thin Lizzy & the Move. SPOILS deliver sweet vocals with blistering guitars & bombastic beats.

All three members have written music for the lauded psych rock band Master Musicians of Bukakke bringing them to the attention of the Sun City Girls' Alan Bishop. In 2015 they released a collaboration with Bishop called Koes Barat for the Sub Pop record label & October 2017 finds them teaming up again on his triple album With a Beaker on the Burner & an Otter in the Oven.
