Although their place upon this planet has been a short space of time, they have achieved great things leaving a small but deep indent on the underground, unsigned music scene, supporting a heavy weight of mod, rock n roll, indie and independent guitar groups all around the country. Always aiming to keep themselves a mixture of gold and silver, shimmering with vintage aesthetic but a cool, contemporary pop edge, the Chessmen are endorsed by Hofner Guitars, validating their rock n roll credentials in a cauldron of mod, rock n roll, British Beat and 60’s tinged booby-traps of noise.
