Powerful, intense, surprising , brilliant... or maybe the quickest way to describe it would be: best gig of my life!

December 2nd 2019
I wanted to love it so badly, and while they rocked really hard and played well, it was a very different experience from the S-K shows I went to back in the day. It was a little noisy and the synth/keys were up too loud IMO. They played a lot of 'new' stuff that I didn't know and a lot of the older songs were sped up just a little too fast for my liking. I also really missed Janet. All in all it was a great show. Full of energy!!!

The best show of my life! I’ve seen them four times over the past 18 years and this show was INCREDIBLE!

Perfect concert! The sound quality was great and the band was outstanding. They've actually gotten better since I saw them a couple of years ago. I was worried with Janet's absence and all... they played 28 songs including the entirety of their new album, The Center Won't Hold. I was pretty apprehensive because the album hasn't clicked with me yet but their live performance of it was off the hook! The Woods' tracks are still my bread and butter tho!

The new material isn’t as good as their older albums and Janet Weiss is missed but Sleater-Kinney put on an outstanding, high-energy, performance. It’s good to see Corin Tucker step out from behind her guitar and up to the mic. Carrie Brownstein is a swaggering, jumping, snearing, snarling rockstar. Opening band were great too.

waited at barricade for three hours to keep my spot. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! they were amazing!! i’ve never seen an all female band before so this was really important to me seeing as how my goal is to form a riot girl band. i was right in front of carrie and she was AMAZING!! such great energy and message from the band and i couldn’t stop laughing with the opener, he was just as fun to watch as sleater-kinney!
