Mapei

Swedish-American Mapei brings palpable soul and sonic versatility to a world where genre matters less and less. Curiosity is a recurring theme in Mapei's creative world, she is musically very versatile and has never followed any predictable paths. She soaks up influences – from hip-hop to dance-pop and Swedish club to gospel – and the results feel organic, timeless and positively exuberant. It’s music of experience – well-traveled and alive. Additionally, to her music career, she’s experienced as a theater monologue director at the theatre in Stockholm, Sweden and short film producer. When participating in Swedens biggest TV show in 2023 she released her first tracks in Swedish and is touring all over Sweden in 2024.
