About Declension
Originally formed as The American Nightmare, the band started in the summer of 2009 with Mike DeMarco on drums and Jared Weed on guitar. Zech LaPlante joined on rhythm guitar in December '09. In April 2011, Mike decided to pursue other interests and he was replaced by AJ Tate. He helped bring in Anthony Viscusi, who joined the following September; then was replaced by our friend AJ "BJ" Piszcz. Bringing a no-bullshit, no-limits attitude to metal music, we are here to melt faces with shredding and pummel you with brutality. Disbanded as of 1/15/16, but a new EP will still be released later this year!
