Upheaval is a Death metal band from Paris, France. Mixture of different personalities of Parisian metal, the group offers an ULTRA violent music, progressive, and technical. They recorded their first EP in 2010 at the Northern Studio, Canada, Yannick St Amand at the helm (Despised Icon, Beneath the Massacre, Ion Dissonance). This EP allowing them to sign at Galy Records. (Beneath The Massacre, Blind Witness, Cryptopsy, Quo Vadis...) Then the band went on the road across France culminating with the first part of Eths. BIOGRAPHY Elected “French metal hope of the Year” by Betraying The Martyrs (Sumerian Records / Listenable) they recorded Cathegrism in paris, during half a year, mixed and masterised by Antoine Lussier (357 Productions Montreal - Canada / Ion dissonance) and are looking for a new label to release it. Cathegrism should delight fans of the new metal scene, as well as those “old school”.
