Genny Effe

Genny Effe, born Gennaro Ferrandino, is one of Naples’ best exports regarding the Techno and Tech House scene. Fascinated by House music and the vinyl culture from his early years, he immediately started to master his craft in his hometown that led to perform in the most valuable venues in Italy. In 2012 Genny moved to Rome, where he found a new family in Circolo Degli Illuminati, one of Rome’s most respected clubs, where he started his own afterparty “INTERFERENZE”, that became in short time a corner stone in the whole country. Tech House and Techno legends have performed in his party, immediately showing a deep respect and a huge support for Genny Effe’s art (his B2B with Hito was one of the most memorable events for roman’s clubbers). From 2013 he partnered with Dani Holl to produce some of the gems he use to spin during his sets, melting the crackling warmness of the Old School’s vibes with a brand new approach that fits perfectly with the hottest brand new releases. Alongside Rome, where his name and his brand are nowadays a guarantee for who lives the night, he exported his trademark sound in many clubs around the country, from Mandarino Club in Puglia to Milan’s Too Long , just to name a few. Genny Effe è uno degli esponenti di altissima qualità della scena Tech House e Techno Napoletana. Affascinato sin dalla prima giovinezza dalla musica House e dalla cultura del vinile, inizia immediatamente a forgiare le sue skills tecniche e il suo gusto nei party della propria città natale, qualità che lo porteranno poi ad esibirsi nelle location più importanti d’Italia. Nel 2012 Genny si trasferisce a Roma, dove trova una seconda famiglia nel Circolo Degli Illuminati, uno dei club più rispettati della Capitale, dove dà alla luce il suo brand di afterparty “INTERFERENZE”, che diventa in pochissimo tempo uno dei capisaldi per l’intero Stivale. Numerose leggende della scena Tech House e Techno sono state ospiti dei suoi party, mostrando immediatamente un profondo rispetto e supporto per le doti di Genny Effe (Il suo B2B con Hito rimane uno dei momenti memorabili per i clubbers romani che hanno avuto il piacere di assistervi). Dal 2013 inizia una partnership con il giovane producer Dani Holl per creare le gemme che è solito suonare nei suoi sets, una fusione tra il suono e le intuizioni della vecchia scuola e le sonorità più all’avanguardia, che le collocano perfettamente tra le migliori nuove release sul mercato.
