we are, et al. is a music project by the Cebu, Philippines native, songwriter/producer Renekarl Paradela. The Bay Area, California based indie artist has released 3 self-produced album, Bipolar Happiness (EP 2013), For The Most Part (EP 2017), Nomad Heart (2018). With a strong DIY ethic, he writes, performs, and records every instrument on his albums.

He recorded his last album Nomad Heart in his home studio before selling all his gears and belongings to travel. All songs were edited and mixed while living in his car on the road for over 11k+ miles across the country passing over 30 States. The project took more than 6 months to release.


Since leaving the local music scene, the Bay Area, California based indie artist has spent the last couple of years living off on the road in a tiny car traveling around the country busking mostly in streets, yards, parking lots, trails, forests, beaches, train stations and empty hallways.

He is currently working on his 4th album TBA 2020.
