WOW. WHAT A BAND !!! I had a ticket for their cancelled show during Covid. So was VERY happy to see them this time around. Hopefully they'll do another BEST OF tour next time. So many other GREAT songs that they didn't play.
Also saw You Am I a month or so ago. Fabulous gig. It's a great venue to see well known bands.

Awesome of course. Great to hear some songs that aren't usually performed live by the band such as Sofa of My Lethergy, Sitting Up Straight as well as classics such as Caught by the Fuzz. We got a bonus of Grace too, which other nights didn't have. Superb guitar sounds as always. Sold out crowd for a Tuesday night, but a little subdued, probably because of our advancing age now :) Sound good though. Didn't reckon much to the support band, Rialto.

About Supergrass
Supergrass - Gaz Goombes, Mick Quinn, Danny Goffey, and Rob Coombes - are one of the most important bands to emerge during the 1990s, with several million record sales, including 6 top 10 albums and 10 top 20 singles.
Formed in Oxford UK in 1993, the Brit, Q, NME and Ivor Novello-winning outfit released their Mercury-nominated No.1 debut album I Should Coco in 1995. Fourth single, ‘Alright’, was a pop masterpiece and became a massive hit, catapulting the band to global success. Supergrass subsequently released another five acclaimed studio albums: In It For The Money (1997), Supergrass (1999), Life On Other Planets (2002), Road To Rouen (2005), Diamond Hoo Ha (2008) as well as top 5 best of, Supergrass Is 10 (2004). Other top 20 singles include: ‘Lenny’, ‘Going Out’, ‘Richard III’, ‘Sun Hits The Sky’, ‘Pumping On Your Stereo’, ‘Moving’ and ‘Grace’.
Supergrass split in 2010, though the band members have gone on to lead successful solo careers: Gaz Coombes released solo albums ‘Here Come The Bombs’ in 2012, ‘Matador’, 2015 and ‘World’s Strongest Man’, 2018; Mick Quinn has been playing with his own group, DB Band, and been a member of Swervedriver since 2015, and Danny Goffey has released solo material including album ‘Schtick’ in 2018. Rob has been teaching piano & music therapy and recording his own songs.
