Daniel Inouwa

After picking up the guitar after university Daniel Inouwa's songwriting project quickly blossomed into something bigger than he could have imagined. After releasing his debut EP 'Firelight' Inouwa quickly garnered support from the Soundcloud community and went on to be named Artist of the Week by Vinyl District and Fame Magazine. After initially gaining a taste for music whilst learning bass guitar in a number of bands at the University of Warwick, Daniel went on to work for Rocket Management managing artists like Grammy Award winner Jonas Myrin and Bird of Prey. It was during this time Daniel carved out his own identity - performing and writing songs on the London open mic circuit. Self Producing his own EP 'All Along' featuring obscure guitar tunings and soaring vocal harmonies, Daniel Inouwa produces a sound akin to his folk influences and contemporaries Elliot Smith, Bon Iver and Damien Rice. 2016 has seen the release of a free EP called Piece of My Heart, a collection of songs that helped Daniel create a newer and more focused direction for his music. Playing upon a number of influences, the EP journeys through melancholic and upbeat ukulele and swirling piano chords as Daniel deconstructs the story of redemption.
