Digging deep into the musical influences that filled their souls, in 2010 the members of Peak Theory combined their talents and took on a challenge to rise above all expectations of the rock world. Intrigued by live performance, they studied and sampled behaviors from all of their favorite artists such as Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Rage Against the Machine, Skrillex and Tool and have developed a stage presence that has you anxiously awaiting their next show. Harmonizing riffs, face melting guitar solos, swamp blues bass lines and sludge metal drum beats make for a wide variety of ear candy for music lovers! All of those styles combine into one band fronted by a charismatic, earthy-toned vocalist, make for an unstoppable force that you will never forget. The positive message and life experience told within their music grabs hold of emotions and opinions that anyone can relate with. Peak Theory is: Mike Check - Lead Vocals / Harmonica Eric "LG" Liester - Lead Guitar Tony "Paintz" Perez - Bass / Vocals Scotty "Too Hotty" Hobbs - Rhythm Guitar / Vocals Josh "Powerhouse" Parmer - Drums / Vocals In striving to perfect their craft, Peak Theory has had opportunities to play shows with some of the best bands in the business, including Tesla, Black Stone Cherry, Adelitas Way, Dizzy Reed, The Sammus Theory, Cage9, Hotel Diablo, Royal Bliss, Hemlock, The Fail Safe Project and Wayland. They achieved first runner up in a local magazine poll for best original band and have been featured on the local rock radio stations such as Kbear 101 and GenX 92.5. They are always excited to play shows with any band, at any venue and are anxious for the release of their first full length album in the fall of 2014. They are truly inspired by their fans, peers, mentors and heroes.
