About The Eyes of a Traitor
The Eyes Of A Traitor have shocked metal fans locally with their original blend of Gothenburg style epic metal, mixed with the tight thrash metal riffage of Chimaira, topped off with the harsh vocals of the more extreme bands of the metal scene. Their musicality, technicality and drive for sucess is almost usually unfounded in bands their age, a mere 16 years old. Their heavyness, mixed with the technicality of sweep guitar solos with clean epic passages have helped to inject variety in a bland and unoriginal scene.
They recently embarked on their first full UK tour with italian death metal band; Godless Crusade and scottish metal band; Bleed From Within.
They are also about to start their first UK headline tour with Aortic Dissection. (27th December 2007 - 3rd January 2008.)
They recently recorded and released their debut CDEP: 'By Sunset' via Thirty Days Of Night Records.
It is a 5 track EP that lasts 18 minutes and contains the 3 full tracks found now and previously on their myspace player; "Disrememberence", "By Sunet" & "Tombstone City". It also contains a previously unheard track called Bloodshed and a full version of "For Reasons That Remain Unclear".
The Eyes Of A Traitor are currently working on their new full length to be released next summer.
