About The Individuals

There are 2 Artists with "The Individuals" name:

New York/New Jersey's The Individuals along with The Feelies and The Bongos were credited with originating the "Hoboken Sound". They released one EP, "Aquamarine" (Infidelity, 1981) and an LP "Fields" (Plexus, 1982) that were both produced by Gene Holder of the dB's. The Individuals broke up in 1983 but Glenn Morrow (guitars /sax/ keyboard/vocals) formed Rage to Live and then co-founded indie label Bar/None. Siblings Janet Wygal (bass / keyboards /guitar/ vocals) and Doug Wygal (drums/ percussion) formed the Wygals and Jon Light Klages (lead guitar /keyboards /vocals) went on to play solo and with Richard Lloyd (Television) and Russ Tolman and Steve Wynn (Dream Syndicate).

Ando Tha Don, Big Lou, Raw Bizness, and T.C.O. are the incredible four man Rap Group called THE INDIVIDUALS. Originally a six member crew THE INDIVIDUALS took the World by storm with their first release SOMETHING TO SMOKE TO. This marvelous hip-hop work of art has reached an international crowd, and with many great reviews of this sensational CD lots people around the world anticipate seeing this group perform live. In May 2005 the Global Marijuana Music Awards were held in Nimbin Australia and THE INDIVIDUALS received (3) 2005 Global Marijuana Music Awards Best Rap Song, Best Reggae Song, and Best Video. In August 2005 THE INDIVIDUALS gave the city of Seattle a treat when they put on an electrifying performance at the 2005 Seattle Hemp Festival. Its no doubt that 2005 was a great year for THE INDIVIDUALS who have been together since 1998. The name of the group reflects the individuality they represent with their unique styles and original flows. Originality is the key to the great music that THE INDIVIDUALS produce with their "be you" attitude. THE INDIVIDUALS a.k.a. THE I-CLICK definetly made their mark in 2005 with the 420 classic CD SOMETHING TO SMOKE TO. 2006 got even more exciting when THE INDIVIDUALS released their hot sophomore CD SOMETHING TO SMOKE TO 2, the sequel to the very colorful SOMETHING TO SMOKE TO. This time THE INDIVIDUALS received (2) 2006 Global Marijuana Music Awards Best Rap, and Best Blues, also (2) 2006 American Marijuana Music Awards Best Rap, and Best Blues. THE INDIVIDUALS created even more excitement for their fans by making a deal with SHOWTIME for the song "LET A THUG SMOKE" to be used in season 2 of the Golden Globe Winning series "WEEDS". Audiences worldwide are in for a treat when THE INDIVIDUALS take center stage in various towns and cities with one of their top notch performances. Any promoter would be wise to include this tight group from Chicago when plans are made for shows, concerts, and festivals.
