John Moreland is such a gifted songwriter and performer. This was my first John Moreland concert and I hope it won’t be my last. The songs are even more poignant in person.

If you want one that's gonna get ya in your feels; this is it! Damn good show!

Moreland is a delight. I discovered hom a few years ago and have been a fan since. He put on a great show. His poetry and musical craft is unparalleled.

What a fantastic show. John Moreland is criminally underrated, & I would highly recommend seeing him live if you get the opportunity. He sounds even better live, & you could probably hear a pin drop in the audience, we were so taken in by his performance. Ken Pomery opened, & was fantastic as well. Ardmore Music Hall is probably one of my favorite venues in the Philadelphia area, it's small, intimate, & no matter where you sit/stand, you're going to get a great view. Drinks are reasonably priced, & it's easy to get to via public transportation.

Great night! Best venue, wish he would come out after the show for autographs though, and have more merch.

He played with his friend and guitarist John Calvin Abney. I even got to meet and shake hands with Mr Moreland! Great show at a great venue in Indianapolis.

It was great. He only played for an hour. If that.
Not sure why it was so short.

I have seen two acoustic shows from John recently but last night he had his band with him. He was full of energy, and sounded as good as ever. Closed the show with “you area I me” from Petty. Great great show.

Excellent. Moreland gives voice to the tribulations of our time. He captures the angst and despair of heartbreak and betrayal through his arresting lyrics and passionate live performances. His work grabs you by the collar, pushes you against the wall and forces you to confront raw emotion. Additionally, his musicianship and playing are impeccable, as well as that of his sidekick, John. Big and varied sound from this diet. Do yourself a favor and give this budding start a listen. Live show if possible, but studio recordings impressive as well.

Absolutely incredible! What a lyricist. Tremendous soul that resonated through every inch of that place. He had the entire crowd as a completely captive audience, hanging on his every emotion. You could hear a pin drop in there. Quite something to behold. Thanks John Moreland and the Barter Theatre!

Holy crap, this man is an amazing lyricist, singer and guitar player. The addition of John Calvin Abney on guitar, harmonica, and piano provided just the perfect accompaniment. Hopefully they come back soon!

The venue was intimate during the opening set of Will Johnson but became church quiet when Moreland started with his time on stage. The crowd respectful of the power of his words as he sang and appreciative of every tune. John was in fantastic voice and played clean.

This was my 2nd time seeing John Moreland! His voice is untouchable! Love him!

Opening acts were great. Moreland is very talented with the guitar and vocals but not much of a showman. He didn't tell any stories or talk with the crowd. A man of very few words. I got the impression he wasn't real happy to be at this last minute show.

Always feel like a deeper version of the real world is revealed by John Moreland's songs
Portsmouth, NH@The Music Hall
Loved the show! The only thing that would make it better is if people in the crowd would have been considerate and quit their talking the whole time.

Absolutely amazing. The best show I have seen this year. John is heartbreaking in the best way possible.
