How one man can make so much music is incredible. I had a great time. Come back Ash and family. Bought a CD too. The support and warm up act, Kathleen Halloran was out of this world. At times she reached such highs it was as if she was doing a guitar duet with the universe - her playing to the universe and the universe playing back through her. What an absolute force. I can see why Ash gave her a chance, I really can. Ffar Out! Kathleen and Ash together during Ash's set was a real treat. I wasn't ready to go home. I had a great time. Great venue, great atmosphere, local musicians, what's not to like???? Couldn't recommend more highly.

We enjoyed Julian James more than Ash. Ash was much of a muchness. Too much auditorium involvement and clapping but not enough song variety. Also they started half an hour late and the cafe opened late too

What a wonderful show! Thank you Ash for coming all the way to Warrnambool to perform. Of course the music was fabulous, but the show was engaging and personal. It was my husband's first time hearing you play live and he was most impressed. We look forward to the next time you are down our way and will definitely come to your show again . About Ash Grunwald

A journeyman, storyteller, and songwriter at heart, Australia’s foremost bluesman Ash Grunwald has announced a new National Tour to coincide with the release of his new LP – Bluesfest Studio Sessions - which drops on Friday 17 November 2023.

Ash Grunwald has inspired a generation to hit the road in an old beat-up Bedford to ‘surf by day jam by night’. Live on stage, Ash rocks the house yet touches the soul, serving a tsunami of dance, beats, roots, bass ‘n’ blues…

Throughout his career, he has supported legends James Brown, The Black Keys, Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, and Keith Urban, among numerous others, and played sold out festivals across Europe, Japan, and North America.

With six Australian Top-50 albums to his credit, alongside five ARIA and four AIR Award Nominations, two APRA Awards, and gong for Best International Act at the LA Music Critic Awards in 2014, Grunwald is cast in bronze among Australia’s most successful blues musicians.
