About Exile Parade

Formed in the summer of 2006, Lomax, Phil, Dave, Chris and Mutchy known collectively as Exile Parade are a band who has reached out to an audience a million miles away from their Warrington home. A band who wants to take their Rock & Roll sound and play it to anyone, anywhere, who will listen. A band in which all members work full time jobs and yet still have achieved a great deal over the last 12 months; most notably they have signed to US management, started work on their debut album with cult status producer Owen Morris (Oasis, The Verve, New Order, The View), had a demo track featured on the DVD release of indie teen drama ‘Skins’, won Best Live Band at The Glasswerk 2007 New Music Awards, enjoyed regular worldwide airplay and have most recently signed a deal with large Dutch Indie label Suburban Records for the Benelux, France and Scandinavia.

"I have never been more sure this band is going to be huge! Great melodies making every song a potential hit single, but always with a raw and 'cocky' rock 'n roll feel"
Ronald Drayer - Suburban Records Managing Director.

Back in February 2007 the band’s early demos were made available for free on myspace. They gained the support of well respected rock writer Mick Middles who stated Exile Parade are “The most promising band to emerge in the last five years”. After hearing the band’s early demos on myspace, Owen Morris called the former Oasis guitarist Bonehead who had been playing the band’s demo every week on his BBC Manchester show. Not long after the stamp of approval from Bonehead, they both came to see the band play live. After watching a brutal half an hour set, in typical fashion Owen and Bonehead got wasted with the band; four months later the band was in Real World Studios with Owen making a start on their debut album.

"Recently I have been in Real World Studio with Exile Parade from Warrington. Best Rock and Roll I've had the honour and pleasure of being involved with since Oasis ' first album. F_cking stunning, evil music." - Owen Morris.

Shortly after the intense week long recording session, LA based manager John Zagata passed a CD of the Owen Morris produced tracks to influential Los Angeles DJ Sat Bisla and he begin playing Fire Walk With Me on his internationally syndicated show ‘Passport Approved’.

"This band is the "dogs boll-cks" of rock, absolutely brilliant. They're unsigned right now but destined to be massive." - Sat Bisla - A&R Worldwide President - Passport Approved DJ/Indie 103.1 LA

The response Stateside was immediate and soon after Sat began playing the band another hugely influential DJ, KROQ LA DJ Jed the Fish, picked up on ‘Fire Walk With Me’ making it his ‘Catch of the Day’ on nationwide show “Out of Order “.

All of this airplay quickly shot the band into the Mediabase top 100 alternative radio charts making Exile Parade the highest UK unsigned band in that chart. The international airplay doesn't stop with the States, ‘Fire Walk With Me’ reached number 1 on Sydney based rock show "Rockin The Shed" and has received regular airplay in Germany and Holland.

2008 certainly looks very promising for Exile Parade with lots of industry attention on both sides of the Atlantic and with an album produced by Owen Morris in production the buzz surely will continue to grow.
