Masterpiece Megadeth Brazilian Tribute

All began in July 2003, when long standing friends got together to play the 80's Thrash Metal. So came the idea of playing songs of only one band and all of them were unanimous with their choice: MEGADETH. After a few months of rehearsal the band was playing live under the name MASTERPIECE. Between the years 2004 and 2005 MASTERPIECE continued to evolve and was already performing in the best venues in São Paulo. In 2005 the band sends live material to Megadeth's website and, after 2 months of evaluation, the notice: MASTERPIECE was recognized on the band's official website as being the Megadeth's tribute in Brazil (pioneer). In the same year, MASTERPIECE is invited to an audition of cover bands for a MTV show (Covernation) and is chosen to "duel" with a Pantera cover band called Unscarred. Since the beginning MASTERPIECE's proposal is to reproduce Megadeth's songs with quality and fidelity, always with the attitude of a tribute band. During the 8 years of existence, MASTERPIECE has build an repertory of 80 songs, from the 1st to the last album, always presenting a different set list on each concert.
