Music Like Lemons

With an up-beat Rock/Indie/Pop style and an unconventional approach to song writing, Music Like Lemons creates memorable and imaginative songs with a distinctive sound. Originally a 3 piece song writing and recording project consisting of Roy Coles, Jon Holmes and Dean Harris; the trio wrote and recorded a number of original songs and played their first live show in summer 2012. Less than a year later, drummer Charl Morrison completed the line up in time for the band's first appearance at Morton Stanley Festival in Redditch. Since then the band continued to develop and progress their sound, image and live performances, playing in venues across the midlands such as Birmingham's O2 Academy and Institute, The Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton and The Marr's Bar in Worcester. Their music has been featured on multiple local radio stations including BBC Introducing shows on a number of occasions. After many years of writing and recording their own material, in September 2014 Music Like Lemons released their debut, self titled and self produced EP marked by a memorable launch party and headline performance at Death or Glory Records in Redditch.
