mabanua is a Japanese drummer, producer, and singer who has definitely made his mark in the Japanese music scene in the past 10 years. A multi-instrumentalist who has collaborated with some of the biggest starts in the J-pop music scene, to some of the dopest rappers in the underground scene. His production catalogue exceeds well over 100 songs. Not only has he been indispensable in the music scene, he has been responsible for creating music for film, television, and anime. In addition, he has played with a number of overseas artists such as Toro y Moi, Chet Faker, Madlib, and Thundercat. As a member of the Japanese band “Ovall”, he has played at some of biggest festivals here in Japan.
