Maethelvin

Maethelvin is a french electronic music composer, born in 1983 in Nantes. He started composing music in the late 90's, on several different synths and samplers, such as MPC's, ESQ1, etc. He was very influenced by artists such as Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Jan Hammer, but also by Video Game and US TV shows music. In April 2007, he joined Valerie's team, a blog founded by his friend David Grellier (a French electronic composer as better know as College). As an historical member of the Valerie Crew, Maethelvin has made a lot of mixtapes and several demos. In 2012, a 7" has been released ("The Last Escape"/"Cruising"). He has also composed many remixes for talented artists, such as Minitel Rose and Kris Menace (ft. Miss Kittin). As a DJ, Maethelvin is providing a powerful mix, from italo-disco to future-disco, reviewing 30 years of music. Now, he’s also playing an amazing live set with synth-funk-electro tracks between groovy downtempo and hot clubbing!
