Sheldon Botler was born on May 20, 1988 in Seattle, Washington. His music fuses elements of Soul/R&B, Jazz, Folk, Rock, Electronic and Rap. With influences such as Bilal, Stevie Wonder, Austin Jenckes, and Maxwell, his music is focused on connecting with, and uplifting the hearts and minds of his listeners. Botler's career as a musician started at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, where he soloed "New York State of Mind" with Garfield High School Jazz Choir in 2005. He has since featured at the Paramount Theatre, The Grammy Museum, The Roxy, Umoja Festival, Festival Sundiata on Seattle Center's Center Stage, Nola's, Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center and many other venues along the West Coast. In 2015 he toured with Vaud and the Villains and is now focused on recording is 4th album.
